Discover the Stories, traditions and values of our family!
This site is a celebration of the love, laughter, and legacy of Bobby and Karen Compretta of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
For decades, their home was the heart of the family—a place where holidays were loud, hugs were long, and the kitchen table echoed with stories, music, and the laughter of kids playing outside. Whether you stopped by for Sunday lunch or just to say hello, Bobby and Karen always made sure you felt at home.
Married in 1967, Bobby and Karen raised four children—Connally, Rob, Brenan, and Jessica—while building a life centered around hard work, community, and family. Bobby spent many years as a manager at Winn-Dixie before serving four terms on the City Council and later launching a career in real estate. Karen began as a teacher at Gulfview Elementary but found her true calling when she opened Arabesque School of Dance, a business that brought joy to generations of local children.
This website exists to keep that spirit alive—a digital front porch where all of us, their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and extended family can gather to share memories, photos, stories, and a few laughs (and maybe a recipe or two).
We invite you to explore, contribute, and keep the Compretta legacy growing for generations to come.
